Kumar Menon, I am originally from Kerala - Indian. I moved to the Isle of Man in 2003 a small island between Ireland and U.K. as a catering student. It wasn't long before I fell in love with this island so much that it is my second home now.
I started Leela's Kitchen in 2011 in memory of my late grandmother Leela. My grandmother and mother are the inspiration behind my passion for food especially Indian food, spices and the culinary journey. To continue the family tradition and journey my daughter Leela is also interested in food and spices.
The key reason to start Leela's Kitchen was to start offering healthy Indian cookery workshops to clients at their residence in Isle of Man, U.K. The business has grown from cookery workshops to providing tailor made dinner parties, bespoke marinated meats and Award winning premium spices & Award winning Onion bhaji mix.
